Canterbury Village Medieval Faire has two Themed Weekends this year. The first weekend, June 3^rd and 4^th is referred to as a Viking Invasion! Besides being a medieval faire with Jousters, the Royal Court with all the pomp and pageantry, there will be Fantasy Lane Performers of kinds along with a host of other Entertainers Including a Viking Reenactment encampment setup by the Michigan Viking Alliance. These reenactors will offer various insights to the daily life of a Viking settlement. Crafts, blacksmithing, weaving and cooking are just a few of the skills that will bed is played in addition to various Norse games for children and adults… So, get out that garb to become a Norse warrior and let’s go a viking and pillage the village this weekend.

On the second weekend, June 10^th and 11^thCanterbury Village Medieval Faire Theme is focused on Pirates! Again, besides being a medieval faire with Jousters, the Royal Court with all the pomp and pageantry, there will be Fantasy Lane Performers of kinds and a host of other Entertainers there will be Entertainers that are focused on the Pirate theme. So, come on all you scallywags and swashbucklers, get out that Pirate garb, practice talking Like a Pirate and walking the plank – man the main sail and let’s go plundering the village this weekend.
